The Proteus Fund seeks Program Officer for National Security Human Rights Collaborative Fund (Flexible, preference for East Coast)
The Proteus Fund is seeking a strong program leader for the National Security Human Rights (NSHR) Collaborative Fund, a collaborative program supporting work to restore human rights and promote progressive national security policy. The Program Officer reports to the Proteus Fund Executive Director. S/he is responsible for working closely with the partner foundations and donors to the NSHR Collaborative Fund, including Open Society Institute and Atlantic Philanthropies and representing the Collaborative Fund and Proteus in a broader Human Rights and National Security Campaign. The NSHR Fund represents one piece of a larger funder campaign that has four primary goals: Ending discrimination and profiling against South Asians, Arabs and Muslims; ending excessive government secrecy and increasing oversight and accountability; ending torture, detention, rendition, and CIA black sites; and placing restraints on surveillance and protection of dissent. Global Fund for Women Seeks to Fill Two Positions
The Global Fund for Women is an international grantmaking foundation that supports groups working to advance the human rights of women and girls. The Administrative Associate to the COO will provide administrative support to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) as well as the Grants Administration sub-team. The Administrative Associate to the COO is part of the Finance and Administration team and reports to the COO. The Annual Giving Manager is responsible for the management, growth and productivity of the Global Fund's comprehensive direct mail fundraising and donor acknowledgment programs. The Annual Giving program contributes over $2 million to the organization's total revenues annually. The Annual Giving Manager supervises two Development Associates. Global Greengrants Fund Seeks Chief Executive Officer
Global Greengrants Fund was founded to bridge the gap between those who can offer financial support and grassroots groups in developing countries that can make effective use of that support. Since 1993, Greengrants has awarded over 4,000 grants in 128 countries, typically between $500 and $5,000. The grants help protect biodiversity, encourage sustainable livelihoods and promote environmental justice. Greengrants is seeking a CEO to succeed the Executive Director. He/she will be responsible for all aspects of the program, budget and staffing. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will serve as a key spokesperson for the organization and will play an instrumental role in fundraising and resource development efforts. She/he will develop and implement strategic and operational plans to provide for strong organizational growth.
